Noah Dixon is a writer, director, and editor based in Columbus, Ohio.

Recognized for his “assured debut” by The New York Times, Noah’s first feature film, POSER, was selected for the 2020 Gotham Narrative Lab and had its world premiere at the 2021 Tribeca Film Festival. The film received theatrical distribution through Oscilloscope Laboratories in 2022, was named a New York Times Critic’s Pick, and went on to win Best Narrative Feature at the 2021 Nashville Film Festival, the Florida Film Festival, and the Nordic International Film Festival.

Noah’s work has screened at festivals around the world, including Filmfest Hamburg, the American Film Festival, the Jecheon International Film Festival, the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and Sidewalk Film Festival. In 2023, he was an artist-in-residence at Zentralwerk Studio in Dresden, Germany, sponsored by the Greater Columbus Arts Council and the Kulturstiftung des Freistaates Sachsen.

His recent documentary, THE BULLDOGS, had its world premiere at the 2026 Slamdance Film Festival. He has also recently wrapped production on his next narrative feature, FUNNYBONE, starring Hadley Robinson and Nat Wolff.

Noah is the co-owner and Creative Director of the production company Loose Films, whose work has been featured at Sundance Film Festival and Big Sky Film Festival, and distributed via Showtime, The New Yorker, and Vimeo Staff Picks. He currently teaches at the McConnell Arts Center and is represented by WME.
